1. What makes Smithville Christian unique?

Our smaller size allows us to know each student personally while maintaining high academic standards within a Christ-centered environment. Our strong supportive community sets us apart. Families, staff, and students know each other well and genuinely care for one another. This creates an environment where students feel safe to grow academically, spiritually, and personally while being surrounded by adults and peers who are invested in their success..

2. When should we apply?

Many families begin exploring in the fall and apply between winter and spring, but applications are accepted throughout the year as space allows. Families can attend an Open House or participate in Grade 8 Day, where students experience a full day of high school life, meet teachers, and get a feel for the community.

3. How much does tuition cost?

Tuition - two tracks. Families receive detailed tuition and fee information during the application process. Tuition should be set by February.


4. Is financial assistance available?

We offer tuition assistance based on demonstrated need. We are blessed with donors who are passionate about supporting Christian education. Bursaries are handled confidentially, and our team is happy to walk you through the process and help you understand what support may be available for your family.

5. Is busing available?

Transportation options vary by location. Families can inquire about available routes and transportation options during the application process.

6. What academic support is available?

Smithville provides learning support, academic accommodations, and individualized attention to help students succeed. Our team works closely with families to understand each student’s needs and determine how we can best support their learning journey. We encourage families to connect with us to discuss their child’s specific needs.

7. What curriculum does Smithville follow?

We follow the Ontario curriculum while integrating a Christian worldview into all areas of learning.

8. How does Smithville prepare students for life after high school

Smithville Christian prepares students for a variety of post-secondary pathways, including university, college, and the workforce. Students benefit from a strong academic program, guidance support, and teachers who know them well and invest in their growth. Graduates leave with the confidence, character, and faith foundation needed to navigate the next stage of life.
